ROTATIONS Owner, Sandy Birczak has been a fitness instructor for over 20 years. Her passion and experience inspires her classes, and her caring concern has developed her strong ties with loyal riders. Sandy is AFFA Group Fitness Certified, and holds Certification in TRX Group Fitness Training, Les Mills RPM, Barre, AFFA Cycling and Tabata. Sandy has competed in numerous 10K, 5K, Half Marathon, Triathlon, Duathlon, and Century Biking Events. She believes that indoor cycling is one of the best cross training workouts to compliment and support any other sports. Sandy offers a high energy workouts that burn calories and improves cardiovascular strength. Sandy created ROTATIONS studio with one goal in mind - to meet the client's needs and concerns. Julie, better known as Jules, is a Mad Dogg Certified Cycle Instructor. I am also a Pure Barre Instructor. Once strictly just a long distance runner, I was was roped into attending a spin class taught by Sandy, by some dear friends. From that very first class, I was hooked and in a short time became a die-hard cycle fanatic! Cycling gave me the extra leg and core strength that I needed to improve the long distance running while tightening and toning my body in a way that running never had done before. I am always one for a challenge, and I am always up for the two, three, four, five, and six hour cycle endurance rides. Let's do it again and AGAIN! Music is the key to my workouts and staying mentally and physically motivated both in and out of the seat. Calling all early birds; let's knock out that early morning workout together, head into our day energized and ready to conquer the world. I strongly believe that working out should be FUN!!! In my class I want riders to leave feeling like they had an awesome workout, as well as feeling inspired. I want each rider to believe in themselves so strongly that they will push beyond their own limits. Working hard to high energy music, and having fun, changing their minds, body and heart from the inside out. Each class will enjoy a one hour journey, filled with the flat roads, racing up and down hills, and climbing intense mountain peaks. I have been a Certified Spinning Instructor for 5 1/2 years. My passion is to connect with each rider and help them accomplish all their work out goals. I am very excited to be teaching and inspiring at ROTATIONS Indoor Studio. Hi, my name is Lynn Jones. I am a mom of three beautiful children and currently teach Kindergarten full time. I have lived in Florida since 1986 when I moved from Michigan. My passion in life has always been to stay in shape and help others to do the same. I have been a group fitness instructor for over thirty years. I have taught a variety of classes at local fitness clubs such as Shapes, Lifestyle, Gold’s, and Southside. I have taught Aqua aerobics, Hi-low, Step, Interval Training, Boot-camp, Body pump, Butts and Gutts, Core, as well as many others. My passion has always been cycling. You can go at your own pace and push yourself or take it a little easy, depending on how you feel. Teaching cycling classes is about energizing and motivating the members to achieve a little more than they thought they could. It’s about leaving the members wanting more. I like to use a wide variety of music in my classes. You can hear Elvis, Kid Rock, Usher and One direction together in one work out. The atmosphere is always clean and friendly. Hi, thank you for visiting our website at Rotations! My name is Anita, and I am a certified Spinning Instructor. I have been an athlete all of my life, with most of my focus on running. After three knee surgeries, and many other running injuries, I decided to give my Hybrid Mongoose bike a ride. I fell in love with outdoor cycling right away. After doing research, I discovered that I could become an even stronger outdoor cyclist if I took indoor cycling classes. That discovery brought me to Sandy and Rotations. The first few classes were tough! But, I loved the energy, music, instructors and especially the calorie burn! My adoration for Indoor Cycling inspired me to become certified to become an Instructor. Teaching at Rotations is one of the best things I have done in my life. I love to motivate, I love great music, and I love people. My classes tend to be geared towards lots of resistance, power, strength and speed. I also focus on form and meditation. I wear a heart monitor and provide my class with useful caloric burn information, always striving to burn more calories. On a side note, I work full time as a Food & Beverage Manager at a Private Golf Club in Sarasota. I am a vegetarian for over 30 years and a gourmet cook, focusing on vegan foods. I am a true believer in being healthy in mind, body and spirit and treating your body like a temple. With all of that being said, I am a true believer in Sandy and Rotations. Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a Mad Dogg Certified Cycling Instructor. Originally from Pittsburgh, I found myself here in sunny Sarasota after graduating with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009. It wasn’t long before I found myself in one of Sandy’s classes and I was hooked. I cannot imagine my life without cycling! Teaching is especially exciting because every class is a unique chance to create a new challenge for our bodies. I love the adrenaline rush when the perfect song blasts through the sound system for a powerful climb or set of sprints. So much energy can be created in this studio! You’ll hear a wide variety of tunes in my classes, I’m always changing it up and welcome new song tips. When I’m not teaching cycling or at my day job, you can probably find me running with my doggy, at the beach, or at home working on a random DIY project or baking experiment. Cycling has played a tremendous role in helping me become the healthiest and happiest version of myself. I strive to inspire that goal in more and more people as I continue to teach. I feel honored to be a part of the Rotations Team and hope to kick your butt in a class soon! Lauren
I am thrilled to be a part of the Team here at ROTATIONS Studios. Most folks know me as the addicted cyclist and outdoor rider. Prior to moving to Florida in 2004, I became involved in fitness and teaching over 25 years ago to get myself into shape, having gotten a little "Happy" (plump) after getting married. Then I couldn't get enough, I sought after every new avenue of fitness to add to my classes in Virginia to make each and every workout FRESH!! From Boot Camp, BOSU, Pilates, Step, Slide, Interval training, etc. Never the same class twice is my MOTO, challenging the brain and the body with powerful music and having FUN!! Making some Noise! I hold certifications/trainings in many aspects of fitness, TRX, Cycle, Masters of Education Degree in Exercise Science and Health. Fitness and Health is my passion and I so enjoy helping folks reach their personal goals. Wendy
Hi. I’m Ron Turner, a life-long cyclist and fitness-nut! I recently decided after having taken indoor cycling classes from Sandy for over 12 years that it was about time that I got certified. So I did! Like many people, I started my cycling “career” as a child riding outdoors for fun. Soon the “fun” developed into a passion and physical conditioning became a life–long goal. Having been a “regular” in gyms for most of my life; I have lifted, and dropped, my fair share of weights, gotten up early to flip huge tires in boot camps, and played individual and team sports for more years than I care to remember. But now, I have found that indoor cycling is a nicer (air-conditioned studio) and safer way (strong, sturdy stationary bikes) to stay in shape. While riding outdoors in 2003, I was seriously injured when I was hit by a pickup truck. As part of my extended rehabilitation, I took indoor cycling classes during the months until I was cleared to again ride outdoors. That’s when I met Sandy and fell in love with the whole indoor cycling experience. Having grown up with music in my background, physical conditioning in my blood & cycling in my soul, I felt at home in the indoor cycling studio. And, Rotations Indoor Cycling Studio is the absolute best! I describe it as a “family affair.” I like all kinds of music so my playlists will likely be a mix of songs you’ll hear when scrolling through your radio stations. Some people say I have a strange sense of humor and my classes have been described as “fun.” That’s the way I like it! Work hard to get in shape and to stay in there, challenge yourself to better your abilities but don’t lose your sense of humor while doing so! I always like meeting new people so drop into one of my classes, say “hi Ron,” and I’ll start you on your indoor cycling experience at Rotations.

Hi! I am Stephanie McDonald and I'm excited and honored to be part of the Rotations team! Since childhood I've been involved in dance, cheerleading and gymnastics. Fitness has always been a priority for me. I am a FiTour certified cycling instructor with certifications in Group Fitness and Zumba as well. When I'm not cycling I am working as a Registered Dental Hygienist here in Lakewood Ranch. I also enjoy running recently completed my first half-marathon! Cycling is my favorite form of cardio. It allows me to escape the outside heat and jam out to great music! As a cycling instructor I hope to help provide an enjoyable workout to great beats and a variety of tunes! Stephanie
Howdy Y’all, My name is Danielle. I have been a part of the Rotations’ family for a little over 3 years now. I started off cycling and then joined the TRX team. Since I was spending all my free time at the studio, Sandy opened me up to becoming an instructor. THANKS SANDY!!!! I have been a medical biller for the past 7 years, and I am working towards my Nursing degree. I come from a small backwoods town called Babson Park/Frostproof. I am a country girl at heart; I love to get dirty, hunt and fish, along with soaking up the rays on the beach. My family owns a cattle farm and I help my father run it. There is not anything better than putting in an honest hard day of work and wrestling cows!!! I plan on becoming a GREAT instructor and giving you all an honest and hard, yet, rewarding workout!!! Mary Kavanshansky Hi! I'm Mary and a new addition to the Rotations family of TRX instructors. I have been taking TRX classes from Sandy for 4 years and I am obsessed with it! I have always been passionate about fitness and maintaining a healthy body through a combination of eating healthy and exercise. I thought I was in good shape when I came in for my first TRX class...boy was I in for a shock! TRX works muscles I didn't even know I have! TRX has transformed the way my body looks, feels and operates. I am so much stronger, have better posture and have a ton of energy. I am a firm believer in maintaining our body strength as we age - use it or lose it! Sandy recognized my passion for TRX and encouraged me to become an instructor. I truly enjoy teaching others and helping them obtain their fitness goals. Outside of TRX, I stay very active with unstructured activities like walking the dogs, yard work, swimming, hiking, etc. And since I have a young daughter, there is also a decent amount of scooter riding, hula hooping, jump roping and cartwheels in the grass!
